This video is from a time when the song that requested to be last was Toto's Africa.  Like any song, it goes well with the right crowd.

Towards the end of the evening, the wedding party asked to see what versions of the Hava Nagila I had.  After just three samples they made their pick.

Allowing wedding guests to do karaoke is not something that professional wedding DJ's with expensive microphones do;  unless, of course, the song is Paradise by the Dashboard Lights.  That is always the exception...

There are times to be interactive and there are times to stay behind the scenes.  There are times to stick to a scheduled play list and there are times to be flexible and even spontaneous.  There are also times when it is appropriate, depending on the crowd and the client's preferences, to play EDM mixes...
